Trailer Technicians must also possess the skills to perform accurate and complete preventative maintenance inspections and annual DOT inspections.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Duties and Responsibilities include<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide excellent customer service to communicate with customers and vendors and effectively resolve issues.<\/li>\n<li>Perform accurate and complete vehicle inspections (DOT, PM)<\/li>\n<li>Perform air brake diagnostics, repairs and inspections.<\/li>\n<li>Perform ABS diagnostics and repairs utilizing laptop diagnostic system<\/li>\n<li>Perform floor, roof, door and side panel repairs<\/li>\n<li>Perform minor and major accident repairs<\/li>\n<li>Perform electrical systems diagnostics and repairs<\/li>\n<li>Perform air brake diagnostics and repairs<\/li>\n<li>Perform wheel end repairs and adjustments<\/li>\n<li>Perform aluminum and steel welding<\/li>\n<li>Perform general repairs on trailer and trailer dollies<\/li>\n<li>Perform PM maintenance accurately and efficiently<\/li>\n<li>Ability to use electronic technical manuals and resources for diagnostics and repair<\/li>\n<li>When mobile maintenance work is not avaliable, perform assigned duties in the main shop<\/li>\n<li>Assist other technicians on work orders\/jobs requiring assistance<\/li>\n<li>Provide accurate documentation on all completed repairs<\/li>\n<li>Keep an up-to-date inventory of items in the service truck<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The ideal candidate needs to be self-motivated and be able to perform all tasks to the best of theirs ability<\/p>\n<h2>Pay Type and Salary<\/h2>\n<h3>Wage Range<\/h3>\n<p>Wage: $12.00 to $23.00 dollars per hour<\/p>\n<h3>Additional Wage Information<\/h3>\n<p>Negotiable based on experience<\/p>\n<h2>Additional Information<\/h2>\n<h3>Job Benefits<\/h3>\n<p>Medical Insurance, Dental, Paid Time Off, Uniforms provided<\/p>\n<h2>Job Location<\/h2>\n<h3>Topeka Trailer Repair, Inc<\/h3>\n<p>929 SW University Blvd. Bldg. 2704-F, Topeka, Kansas 66619<br \/>\nHours-7:30-4:00 Mon-Fri<br \/>\nClosed-Saturday and Sunday<\/p>\n<h2>Contact Information<\/h2>\n<h3>\u00a0Evelyn\u00a0 Piper\u00a0 , Office Manager<\/h3>\n<p>(785) 862-6010<\/p>\n<p>TTR@TOPEKATRAILER.COM<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Position Apply Here:\u00a0 Applicants must be capable of making quality repairs to suspension, lighting, electrical systems, air brake, and ABS systems, steel and aluminum welding and trailer body\/structure and doors.
